In school, there are always certain things you’re just not allowed to do. No talking during class, don’t pass notes, don’t start fights, don’t throw cupcakes at your teacher while they are writing on the board. The last one really did happen somewhere, we swear. But, one we always found was the easiest to break was gum chewing. It’s a harmless activity, when it’s not getting caught in your hair.
Now, researchers from Wrigley’s (no surprise there) found that chewing gum may help students in school. Kids who chewed it got better grades over those who didn’t.
This is a sweet new study we like! We can now tell our teachers that it’s a proven fact that chewing gum can help us in school. No more trying to hide it under desks for later or just chucking it into someone’s hair. Time to chew that piece up!
Blowing bubbles in our teachers faces,
