Linkin Park to Score Transformers 2
Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda posted a blog recently (HT TDS) revealing the band’s participation in the soon-to-be-blockbuster Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen. Not only is a song they wrote for the film “being used as one of the themes,” but they are also collaborating with legendary film composer Hans Zimmer for the entire score.
In a previous post, Shinoda hinted about a song they were working on for the then-unspecified project, saying that singer Chester Bennington was collaborating via email for a tune “built on layered, heavy synths” and a “robotic feel.” Is that like MGMT’s “Electric Feel”?
